Music mogul Russell Simmons has taken up a new cause. He is protesting cow milk as New York’s state beverage.
Reports The Urban Daily:
Stop laughing! Simmons is dead serious. The Def Jam founder recently wrote a letter to New York’s governor, Andrew Cuomo, explaining how milk made from rice, soy, and almonds is better for the body than cow milk. Though dairy farms bring in a lot of money for the state, the change in milk could push new businesses. The money made from a different kind of milk could replace any money New York has lost.
Simmons and Cuomo have a history of working together. The pair worked to have New York’s strict drug laws modified. Cuomo nor his office has responded to Simmons’ ideas.

Wow. Russell Simmons gained weight. Has he been eating beef? He was doing so good . Hopefully, he’ll take off a few pounds like I’m working on doing now and continue making healthy changes

I’m not a heavy milk drinker anyway …. but Almond milk is whats up (what I been drinking for the last 2yrs) when I do need/want milk) …… Now if it wasn’t so expensive, it’ll give cow milk a run for money and more shelf space at your local market

He’s kind of right about milk. Humans are the only mammals that continue to drink milk after infancy. Plus it puts mucus behind the eyes.
