Nas To Join Common & Q-Tip's Super Group The Standard?

Reports This is 50:

Common and Q-Tip formed The Standard in 2007, although they have yet to release any music. That could soon change as Q-Tip is currently in the studio working on his solo album which would free him up afterwards.

The Daily News reports that an insider has told them The Standard would like to add a third MC to the group. Given the fact that Common and Nas are already planning on releasing a joint album, it would not be far fetched to see Nas join The Standard.

When asked if he would be working with Q-Tip and Common on their project Nas told the Daily News, “definitely.”

I see said the blind man. And now…

I think it sounds like a dope idea if they can actually pull this off and not let their plans end up shelved. I might be bias though……I mean….i’m still a fan of real hip hop.

First album should be called ” no country for old men”
In all seriousness I think this could be good but contrived at the same time
Quote for truth ” They don’t paint pictures they just trace me” – jay-z black album

This could either be dope as hell or go horribly wrong. I’m leaning more toward dope as hell. I’m definietly rooting for them ! All they need now is Mos Def.
