Back in 2009 rapper Beanie Sigel was charged with failure to file income taxes on the $1 million he earned between 2002 and 2004 while he was on Roc-A-Fella Records.
Beans pleaded guilty to tax evasion last year and now it’s time to pay the piper…
According to reports Beanie owed more than $300,000 in back taxes and is facing up to three years in prison when he is sentenced on Thursday April 12.
Ironically, Beans just signed a deal with EMI Records and was preparing to release a new mixtape.
Beanie plans to appeal the amount owed.
