Lil Boosie’s Rap Lyrics Will Be Used Against Him In Court

Reports Real Talk NY:

A judge ruled Tuesday that prosecutors can play some of Baton Rouge rapper Torrence “Lil Boosie’’ Hatch’s violence-laden lyrics at his first-degree murder trial scheduled to begin Monday. Prosecutor Dana Cummings told Erwin she considers some of Hatch’s rap lyrics “admissions’’ and will use them to demonstrate Hatch’s “intent, motive and plan.’ In one of Hatch’s songs, titled “187,’’ he refers to himself as the John Gotti of the south side and says, “I’m the reason the murder rate sky high.’’ He also says, “Whoever try to play me, they dead now.’’

    Bull shit

  2. SPE… if you wrote the film, then yes, I can see them using that against you in a court of law if your criminal behavior is similar in context for why the film is being used by the prosecution. Lil Boosie “wrote” his own rhymes and I’m sure he has a criminal track record and associations with known criminals, where #WhenKeepingItRealGoesWrong

Or when will people listen to what rappers have said “it is just entertainment” “this is not our life”. Point being if they are going to prosecute him based off of his work as an artist then they would have to do the same to any person who has ever made a mob, action, horror, ect. movie because they could have put their dirt in the movie. Take music, Movies, and Games for what they are as entertainment and nothing more.

I wonder when these cats will learn that keeping your mouth shut about your dirt is the best way to stay out of sight.
