Chris Brown Cooperates With Cops, Lawyer Goes After Drake, Fight Footage Emerges (Video)

Reports TMZ:

Chris Brown has spoken with New York Police Dept. detectives about the bar fight that left a gash in his chin … and law enforcement sources tell us his lawyer has given the NYPD “physical evidence” which allegedly shows Drake was involved in the melee.

We’re told Chris’ lawyer, Mark Geragos, went to the NYPD late today to present evidence showing that Drake and Meek Mill were the aggressors, but earlier in the day Chris spoke with Detectives at an undisclosed location in NYC. Cops tell us Chris is not currently a suspect but rather “a witness and a victim.” We’re also told Drake is not currently a suspect.

On the other side, we’re told Drake has been “cooperating” with authorities, but we do not know if he has spoken to cops — it appears his representatives have had conversations with detectives.

Sources tell us … the bad guy here may be someone in Chris’ camp, who was inciting Drake and his people all night.

As we previously reported both Chris and Drake were trash talking each other before the fight, flipping each other off and what not.

And now…here’s TMZ on what started the fight.

Drake flashed his middle finger, engaged in serious trash talk, and drafted several other rappers to join his posse … minutes before the all out brawl with Chris Brown, according to multiple witnesses in the club.

We’re told the tension started building when Drake gave the middle finger to one of Chris’ bodyguards and shouted … “I’m about to go whoop that ass!” Chris’ entourage then returned fire with a few hand gestures of their own.

Witnesses — who were very close to the action — tell us that Drake felt disrespected … even though he started the exchange … and went to get backup from his boys Meek Mill, Juelz Santana, and Trav B.

At this point, we’re told Drake got loud and shouted at Chris … “You be on that ho s**t on Twitter n***a” — a clear reference to a recent Twitter war between Chris, Drake, and Meek … all over who’s banging Rihanna.

Moments later we’re told Chris’ security guards got irate, pushing and shoving began between Meek, Juelz and Chris’ posse — and you know the rest.
