Add “Hottest Eye Candy of All Time” to Rosa’s growing list of titles after XXL Magazine announced the buxom beauty beat out her competition and was voted fan favorite. Last month, the publication opened a poll for readers to vote for the hottest eye candy model featured in the past 15 years. The celebrity vixen edged out previous Eye Candy of the Year winners including Angel Lola Luv, Esther Baxter, Gloria Velez and Buffie the Body. “The fans spoke and Rosa Acosta was their winner for XXL’s hottest Eye Candy of All Time. Congrats to her! If we could only all be that sexy,” says Editor-In-Chief of XXL Magazine, Vanessa Satten. Rosa will be featured in a special spread in XXL’s celebratory 15th Anniversary September issue that hits newsstands today.
“I’m really happy and grateful that my fans even voted for me,” says Rosa Acosta. “I wasn’t expecting this at all. To compete with girls from the past 15 years and girls that I know very well, and win is a big deal!” Admirers of the sought after model should enjoy this unprecedented moment because it may very well be one of her last. Rosa says “baring all” on magazine covers will soon become a thing of the past. The fitness star and entrepreneur plans to launch her fitness clothing line “Body by Rosa Acosta” this month, accompanied by her first workout DVD, making her mark in the health arena as a certified brand.
Rosa will appear on the covers of American Curves and Show Magazine this fall as well as in feature spreads in Spanish Maxim, Maxim Czech Republic, and Maxim. Rosa’s popularity extends into the gaming world with the Konsole Kingz release of her second “Rosa Acosta theme” for Playstation 3 users. The gaming developer company noted Rosa’s first release was its most downloaded theme.
The budding actress is currently starring in Hot 97’s online video series “Los Blancos,” that follows the adventures of two sisters at the helm of their family’s cocaine business. “The show is like the ‘Sopranos’ but from the perspective of women leading the business, with a Spanish twist,” explains Rosa. The 8-episode series, now in its second week, airs online at http://www.hot97.com/tv/ every Wednesday at 12 p.m. (EST). The Dominican beauty will also appear in the upcoming Fuse TV show “The Hustle” this November, playing the role of a sexy troublemaker in the “urban Entourage” new series.
