August 30th marks the day that baby Blue Ivy Carter got to do at only eight months old what many never get to experience…take a helicopter ride.

Father Jay-Z took her on her first helicopter ride, and he was photographed touching down at a helipad in New York City with Baby Blue held close to his chest. The little music royal was wearing a small pair of blue headphones to shield her ears from the loud noises of the helicopter propellers.

Not hatin, just sayin as a Marine Corps helicopter mech/flyer/ crew chief with a few deployments on my chest, we put it on the line everyday to bring our brothers back from the field whether they be dead, dieing, or good to go and a baby with a rich mom and pops gets a shout out for riding in a bird…. just saying
