Kids: Charlie has to shell out $1,000/month in child support, but they’ll share custody of their two daughters. Neither party has to cough up spousal support.
Homes: Kenya scored the marital home in Michigan, along with the home bought for her parents. Charlie gets the condo in Vegas and the home he bought his parents.
Money: Kenya was awarded $780,000 cash from Charlie’s savings … leaving him with $656,000. She also gets half of the $670,000 from another account.
Here’s where Kenya wins big: she gets HALF OF EVERYTHING from the following: Charlie’s NBA 401k plan, his NBA retirement plan, his NBA pension, NBA welfare plan and NBA supplement benefit plan.
Charlie gets ZILCH from Kenya’s “Basketball Wives” money.

Sounds great for them, their families, and their children… If you dont have any strong values, knowledge of seld, dont seem to understand what the word commitment is and cannot fathom the meaning of what VOWS… Then I dont expect you to understand things in regards to when two Grown Beings become one. SORRY, but “strong values, knowledge of self, and commitment” have nothing to do with the basic fact that I/they no longer have love for the other. Furthermore, getting a divorce should not be a financial windfall for one over the other who was clearly not the income earner in the relationship. Then explain why her income doesn’t factor into the equation please?!!!
Exactly Joseph! Besides Kenya met Charlie at Michigan State and stood by him when he was on welfare and unable to play in the NBA. Not too many basketball wives would stick around with you after going from the NBA to welfare!
And ppl wonder why marriage numbers are low…if you dont get cheated on, youre gonna get robbed..lol
