This “secret footage” seems pretty official and here’s what Mitt can be heard saying:
There are 47 percent of the people who will vote for the president no matter what. All right, there are 47 percent who are with him, who are dependent upon government, who believe that they are victims, who believe the government has a responsibility to care for them, who believe that they are entitled to health care, to food, to housing, to you-name-it. That that’s an entitlement. And the government should give it to them. And they will vote for this president no matter what…These are people who pay no income tax.

The President of the United States is just that: the President for ALL of us, whether we like it or not. MITT wants Americans to stand behind him, but he’s not willing to stand behind ANYONE except himself (and those like him). America is made up of a lot of personalities…a lot of opinions…and we are FREE to have these personalities and opinions…
…so, why would we vote for someone that’s not FOR AMERICA? He’s for HIMSELF, in many ways. He’s for an “accomplishment notch in his belt”, by becoming President of the US. There’s no COMMON SENSE way to become President of a nation like ours – but to turn your BACK on half of this nation! A true leader LEADS people out of poverty, not BLAMES people for being in poverty.
MITT does not represent American ideals, morals, principals, nor ideology of LEADERSHIP. Mitt is a rich citizen that is trying to claim HE is the best LEADER available for the job of PRESIDENT of the United States – to ALL of the world, not just to Americans.
I beg to differ. He can keep his money…he can hide his tax returns…he can still BE MITT without ruining the growing legacy of America. America will bounce back, because we ALL will work together. We don’t need a “leader” who will leave MANY of us behind, because of his personal opinions about us.
If you don’t want to do the WHOLE job, then don’t do ANY of the job, MITT! You can’t be President of HALF of the United States of America…not possible…
Honestly, I am voting for Obama but I hate those same people who feel like my hard earn money and taxes that I pay and they don’t are an entitlement to them. Alot of “Us” have talked about “Them People”. No defense to Mitt Romney but I definately believe you use Government aide for a term and then you get off. I am sure we all know one or two who are lazy and don’t want to get off the system and the skate by while we foght to maintain or climb to make it to the next level. Also it is “ALL” our responsibilty to not only vote but share the importance of voting with the next generations. I walked into Enterprise yesterday and heard a few girls talking about how Mitt Romney was going to do away with welfare and she was afraid of that happening and said that she was voting this year to see what happens but if Mitt Romney wins after she so upset she even voted….. PLEASE HELP THE NEXT GENERATION AND ALL OTHERS WHO ARE LOST!!! Fight for your rights or lose them to self ignorance!

What this moron (and the rest of the Republican Party for that matter) don’t realize that: 1. Not all people on Government Assistance are “lazy” and “refuse to work, because the government owes them entitlements”, 2. Most of the new people enrolled in Gov. Assistance these past four years are people considered “middle-class” that lost their jobs in some form or fashion, and have had to do so to keep their houses they are most likely upside down in, and 3. President Obama didn’t win the Presidency from people on Gov. Assistance (that usually tend to NOT exercise their right to vote in large numbers), he won it with the vote of the same people Mitt keeps alienating: those same Caucasian, middle-class folks he has no clue about; I forgot that President Obama’s campaign outworked the shit out of the McCain-Palin ticket as well. Keep it up Mitt, you are making it easier for Obama to have four more years to turn this mess Bush started around. **steps off soapbox**
