Dancehall rapper Sean Paul clears up age-old rumors that Jay Z kept him out of Beyonce’s ‘Baby Boy’ video after rumors that he and Beyonce shared “seat-back luv” together..

Did Sean Paul pon di BeyBey???
The reggae star caused the rumor mill to go into overkill after he collaborated with Beyonce on their hit number “Baby Boy” back in 2003 but failed to perform the hit with the singer at the MTV VMAs.
Many speculated at the time that Jay-Z had a hand in blocking the Dancehall singer from performing with his now wife.
“It was not a big deal to me, but it really blew up into crazy stuff.” the Jamaican MC told sources.
“That’s a rumor that started. I’ve known Jay-Z from before I knew her,” he added.
Continuing to deny the rumored beef, Sean also recalled a time when he met up with Jay-Z in his Roc-A-Fella office to seek advice on radio politics and the business of publicity…
“The general public blew it up in certain things. I just remained quiet about it for years because it was doing its work. There was just a lot of controversy,” he said.
Adding: “She’s an amazing artist, the song was at number1 for like nine weeks, so that was a very special time for me and for dancehall.”
