Former Pussycat Doll singer Nicole Scherzinger has stepped up to address new hype and gossip claiming she is romantically linked to R&B star Chris Brown.

A rep for Nicole Scherzinger is slamming rumors that the singer hooked up with Chris Brown on Tuesday night. The rumor started on Wednesday morning after MediaTakeOut published pictures of the two inside Hollywood nightspot, The Supperclub. A rep for Nicole tells us, “There is absolutely no truth to the ridiculous story regarding Nicole and Chris Brown. The photos that have surfaced are of old friends who were trying to talk at a very loud club. I guarantee there will be no photos of them kissing. This is a non-story.” A rep for Brown reiterated those sentiments, telling us, “No story here. They were not kissing. They are friends, and have been for years. They were talking at a club that was playing loud music.”
Steamy hook-up rumors hit the Internet early Wednesday (September 26) in light of a few leaked photos.
Photos circulating on the Web show Scherzinger, 34, leaning close to Brown, 23, as he presumably tries to shout in her ear. In one image, Brown looks like he’s closing in on Scherzinger’s personal space as she throws her head back and smiles. Gossip site X17online.com initially reported that the two were locking lips on the dance floor, citing an eyewitness who said the two celebrities were definitely doing more than talking. “They were dancing close for a while and being all touchy-feely and finally Chris leaned into her,” the source told X17online.com. “She put her head on his shoulder and they started kissing! I couldn’t believe Chis was being so obvious about it!”
