Footage of last night’s explosive Rick Ross and Young Jeezy brawl has now landed online, showing what all really took place at the BET Hip Hop Awards taping.

The new clip shows a shirtless Ricky Rozay in the midst of a brawl.
The BET Awards brawl between Rick Ross and Young Jeezy took an army of guards to break it up and left a trail of destruction backstage — and TMZ got the intense footage on tape. In the video, security can be seen stepping in between the various combatants almost immediately, separating everyone before the fight got out of hand. A shirtless Rick Ross can be seen yelling before being escorted away from the scene. Whoever Ross was yelling at tried to follow after him, but security stepped in before he could get there. There was one casualty however — a random mirror. According to Atlanta PD, no arrests were made. (TMZ)
Reports of what exactly went down hit the Internet late Saturday night.
During Saturday’s (September 29) taping for BET’s 2012 Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta Rozay and the Snowman reportedly got into a shoving match backstage before the scuffle spilled outside into the parking lot. Shots were fired and at least one man was said to be arrested. That’s not all. Multiple sources who witnessed the fray confirmed to MTV News that Ross’ protégé Gunplay was also involved in fisticuffs with members of 50 Cent’s G-Unit camp. Gun was seen with visible wounds and a witness told us that the Miami MC was put into handcuffs and detained, but a separate source close to Gunplay told us that he was not arrested. (MTV)
Following last night’s incidents, BET issued a statement to media outlets.
“BET Networks works very hard to bring the best in entertainment to the city of Atlanta. For the past 7 years BET has celebrated the true art form of Hip Hop. Due to some misjudgment of select attendees, it is unfortunate that certain incidents took place. BET Networks does not condone any type of violence. Local authorities are working to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.” (BET)
Just last month, Ross said he could see himself working with Jeezy.
“I’m always ’bout business; that’s why I’m here. I haven’t taken nothin’ personal since I came in the game and I think if you in this business and plan on having longevity in this you shouldn’t take nothin’ personal,” Ross said, noting that their differences never led to any physical altercations. “Ain’t nobody stepped on my Jordans yet, not out here. As far as I’m concerned, bring that money bag, let’s shake the world up, that’s what Double M-G is about.”

Buffoonery: What the black community needs is more positive role models, education, and fathers in the home that have a good jobs. So many young blacks fall victim to listening to these rappers. I personally like hip hop music but it has help destroy the black community. Youths can’t understand that its just music not a blue print to live by. We don’t need anymore rappers or entertainers as role models.
I love Rick Ross but I wish these grown men would stop the gangsta sh$t. We’ve lost Pac, Biggy and others to violence. I live in Chicago–it’s a war zone!
