YMCMB rapper Tyga is shutting down rumors that he’s struggling to pay rent on his Malibu mansion because he just threw down $6.5 million on a Calabasas mansion.

On Monday it was revealed that Tyga’s former landlord, Gholamreza Rezai, was suing Tyga for faulting on his $16,000 rent. However, a rep for Tyga told the site that he gave the landlord the necessary 30-day notice to move out of the home, and everything should be squared up. The rep added that the landlord is being unreasonable and wants to find a way to keep Tyga locked in the lease, because he can’t find someone to ante up the rent in such a poor economy.
Despite his former landlord woes Tyga has moved on by settling into his massive new 7-bedroom home, complete with a movie theater, pool, spa, waterfall, tennis courts and a gym.
