Back in August BET ordered 10 episodes of a comedy based on Kevin Hart’s 2011 BET Awards skit, ‘Real Husbands of Hollywood’ starring Duane Martin and Boris Kodjoe. The semi-scripted satire just got its air date.

Real Husbands of Hollywood airs on BET Tuesday January 15, 2013 at 10 p.m.
Kevin says,
“I haven’t been this excited about a project of mine in a while, there is nothing like this on television……the levels of funny that will be reached on this show are endless!!!”

I’m really excited to see this new semi-scripted reality show! Kevin Hart is one of my favorite comedians and I also loved the skit on the 2011 BET Awards that started this idea. I’ll definitely be tuning in and recommended my DISH coworker watch this show. I’ll be recording it on my DISH Hopper since I won’t be home when it airs. I like that when I play this back I’ll be able to start watching on my living room TV and then continue watching on my kitchen TV right where I left off. This saves me time because I can get a lot of work done around the house while I watch this play back. As Hart said, I’m sure this show will provide endless levels of laughter!
