Katt Williams was detained in West Hollywood last night and claims it was because he was a Black man on a gay street. As TMZ cameras rolled Katt Williams was handcuffed and put in the back seat of a squad car while officers searched his vehicle.
After being released Katt tells TMZ, “I got stopped for being black on the gayest street in the America.” “I came to hang with my gay friends and this is what happened. There was 8 officers, they were everywhere, I came to pick up Shug Knight. He was getting a manicure.”
“All I did was stand outside to pick him up. And suddenly it was all these officers and then they found my weed and my guns…”
“Eventually they let me go because I’m Teflon Kitty.”
Law enforcement officers tell TMZ they were called to the scene because of a “disturbance” and say they searched and ticketed Katt’s SUV for being parked too close to a fire hydrant.

You can’t try to out someone for being gay, then turn right around and be arrested in West Hollywood. Then you say you we’re there to hang with your gay friends, who happens to be Suge Night of all people, getting a late night manicure? Shit just doesn’t sound right. Of all the nail shops…nevermind.
