Last week, for reasons unknown, rapper Gucci Mane was invited to speak at Crawford Long middle school in Atlanta for career day. Here’s the gag: Crawford Long parents had no idea Gucci had been invited to speak to their children and they are not amused.

“How do you justify bringing someone who is not even at the top of his game in the rap industry and who has a rap sheet because he’s been in so much legal trouble?”
According to the report most of the parents found out through postings on Facebook and Twitter.
Atlanta Public Schools vowed to investigate telling WSBTV
“We want to make sure people who serve as role models to our students are in line with our ethical and integrity standards.”
