2 Chainz Arrested For Weed Grinder In UMES (Details)

On Valentines Day, 2 Chainz (real name Tauheed Epps) was arrested while enroute to a show at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES). While the details are still fuzzy, here’s what we know thus far.

According to 2 Chainz, he and his camp were headed to the university, when they were somehow pulled over and it was discovered that someone (2 Chainz) had a weed grinder. After the incident, 2 Chainz tweeted what happened, writing:

UMES we on the way , dam police f*ckn wit a n*gga , we fina turnUP…Locked me up and then Wanted pictures smh..We to jail for a grinder??? REALLY??? Show must go on much love UMES…I work hard and pray even harder , we gone always b good yall….Not to mention my security said it was his and they said , he don’t smoke ,, how da fuk u know? In any event, this isn’t the Atlanta rappers first time having a run-in with police. Last year, he was arrested for having brass knuckles. He recounted the story to MTV, saying:
