Pitbull goes in on Lil Wayne after he made comments against his home city.
Reports HipHopDX:
Pitbull is the latest Miami, Florida resident to take offense to Lil Wayne’s comments against Miami Heat.
Rhyming over Baauer’s breakout hit “Harlem Shake,” Mr. 305 goes in on Weezy for going on a tirade against certain Heat players and claiming that he “fucked Chris Bosh’s wife.”
“I’m self-made, I’m self-paid / I grew up with no daddy, I’m from Miami-Dade,” raps Pitbull on the chorus. “It’s a deposition / Watch what you speak / Who’s the definition of Miami? Me / I move cultures, don’t believe me? / Watch and see.”
He then turns his attention to the YMCMB captain in the second verse, stating that Cash Money co-CEOs Birdman and Slim are the only ones profiting from his career. “You got money, yeah that’s sweet / But we all know Slim and Baby really eat / You talk Miami, yes you talkin’ Heat / Moral of the story, don’t shit where you eat,” he raps.
Lil Wayne came under fire after making his comments during an event at NBA All-Star Weekend. Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell publicly denounced Wayne for his statements, while Trick Daddy took to the radio airwaves to express a similar sentiment.
And now…the audio.

When it comes to publicity, proactive is more than a skin care product.
Really???? *Ed Lover voice* C’mon Son
I was born and raised in D.C. And growing up during its time as murder capital has strengthened me in ways I can’t articulate here. However, my love for my city doesn’t extend to me getting upset at anyone who disses it. That’s their prerogative and opinion. These rappers gain money, but rarely wisdom, and thusly spread hatred and death. No one shoots bullets at Brad Pitt, or makes diss movies trying to destroy his image and career. Fools most these rappers are.
lol @ Diss movies. that’s real tho
Ok so . . .. . . .. . All I wanna say is —- to be a rap superstar, a millionaire, a role model (whether by choice or not), and straight up DISS the city you live in for years now? . . .. .Is that a smart move, regardless of the reason or motive? You say “that’s their prerogative and opinion”, yet I say that just because every human being on planet earth has a prerogative and opinion, that doesn’t necessarily mean they have a right to voice it whenever the heck they want to. A wise man once said, “There’s a time and place for everything.” Nobody disses Brad Pitt with “diss movies” because Brad Pitt doesn’t come out in a public arena and forum and diss an ENTIRE city, in which he RESIDES for YEARS NOW.
You wanna get on stage in Houston during All Star Weekend and diss the ENTIRE city (and everyone in it) that you LIVE IN, EAT IN, HAVE FANS IN, FUCK HOES IN, RIDE YOUR SKATEBOARD EVERYDAY IN? Well, just know that there (maybe rightfully) will be some backlash behind that. *drops mic*
I undertand completely why Pit did this. And I support it 100%. But Pitbull CAN’T RAP. Miami needs one ACTUAL RAPPER to come out against Wayne. The question is, does Miami have a lyricist that can smash Wayne (pause) at this time?
HOLD UP “TDubb”.
DON’T GET IT TWISTED.
All you have to do is watch Pitbull’s Behind the Music on VH-1 and you’ll quickly learn that RAPPING is how Pitbull was discovered in the FIRST PLACE. In case you don’t know, (Uncle) Luke used to take Pitbull out on the road with him while touring, & during radio interviews he would call out the cities’ best “rapper” or “freestyler” or whoEVER to come out and battle his “Pitbull”. . . Which Pitbull would chew up and spit out in front of the whole entire crowd. That’s he even got the name “Pitbull”.
Here are two old ass videos of him freein’, his style on the vids is old but the vids are from like 2001. . . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSFGjD4uyn8

Frenzy I feel you bro . . The whole situation is a big #SMDH
Peace
But that’s my point: Wayne was a fool for upsetting a bunch of fools. Childish fools all of them, who overreact to their angry emotions. Wayne doesn’t have the power to destroy Miami’s reputation, prevent tourism or the sell of Heat tickets. And no, Miami-folk don’t have to make him feel welcome their again either. And no, Brad Pitt wouldn’t do that because he’s no childish fool…which is why no one will ever shoot at him. He’ll never get caught with an illegal weapon. He’ll never diss anyone’s city and say how he fucked their wife to a chanting crowd of sheep robots. Neither would I. Because it’s dumb.
