While it was likely not the intention of the creators of the History channel show, “The Bible”, to make the character of Satan resemble President Barack Obama, that’s exactly what the end result wound up being. Conservative Glenn Beck made note of the striking resemblance and tweeted about it, which spurred many other Twitter users to comment on how they noticed that Satan on the show looks very similar to the President.
The actor who plays Satan on the show, Mehdi Ouazzani, is of Moroccan decent, which raised further questions as to why he was cast to play the role after it has been acknowledged that the makeup job performed on his face makes him look very similar to Barack. The History Channel apparently plans on explaining their reasoning for casting Mehdi to play the role of Satan after all of this controversy has come to light.
Glenn Beck has since tweeted for media outlets to come down with all of the hype that has surrounded his single tweet, and he’s gone on to defend the show for being one of his “favorite shows”.

I agree. Jesus is white and Satan is Black & so happens to look like President Obama. Who are they fooling. I guess no one really reads the bible that clearly states Jesus, if African. He was crucified as are we to this day. Too bad Americans are stupid and will believe what they see, hear in a rap song or tweet. Giggles. What a shame.

Uh, EXACTLY. From the first time I attempted to watch this show, I was like….WHERE are all the Black people?
Apparently, they’re all in he’ll
