Im from Cleveland. I miss LBJ but the truth is w/o comparison to anyone is that he is a dominant player. In Cleveland he had no one to mentor him or play on that team with semi or all star status. But LBJ got alot of shine in high school nationally to this point now. Barring injury LBJ will make the fall of fame and is a dominant player —-> .
There should not even be any comparison. Kobe been in the game longer and all around is a better team player. Kobe won multiples rings already and puts in work. He has been with the Lakers since the start of his career and have achieved numerous awards/praises, etc…. While Lebron James is a good player he doesn’t have the background in the NBA to even be considered better than Kobe. He is still young and has some way to go.
Thats real, my g. People want LeBron to be in the “Greatest Ever” mix so bad that they will disrespect so many others that earned the right to be a part of that particular discussion. There is a reason that Mike, Magic, Larry Legend, Barkley, Reggie Miller, and more from all era’s of professional ball have stated that they would rather play on a team with Kobe than with LeBron. That reason has to be the consistency of Kobe’s game all-around. And that type of respect takes longer then 10 years and one ring, my g.

Lebron this year is averaging 27 a game. At the same point in Kobe’s career, he was averaging his career high of 35 a game. Numbers don’t lie. Kobe did have a slower start point-wise in his career vs James. He was brought off the bench on an All-Star studded team until he surpass them and blossomed
He’s still on a team loaded with talent and continues to get bounced from playoffs! Kevin durant is a more dominant player and scorer than kobe! But Kevin doesn’t do all lebron does either and reguarly gets outshined by his teammate too.
