Earlier this week, we posted photos of Drake making it rain $50,000 at a strip club in Charlotte, North Carolina, and we’re sure many of you were shocked at the amount of money that was strewn all over the floor … but did you know that as a rapper, Drake could actually write that off on his taxes as a business expense?

According to a group of rappers who know a thing or two about “making it rain” in the strip club, deducting those expenses from their taxes is a legitimate practice.

Rappers Jim Jones, Bizzy Bone and The Game all plan to do that next month when they face Uncle Sam, and TMZ says that it could actually work!

There are 2 possible ways a rapper could justify deducting strip club tips as a business expense:

1. ENTERTAINMENT EXPENSES. These costs could be deducted if the rapper is entertaining a client, customer or employee and the expense is not “lavish or extravagant.” So it might be hard for Drake to justify dropping 50K in a club, but another rapper who lets a grand fly would have a much better argument.

2. ADVERTISING OR PUBLICITY. These expenses could be deducted if they are “reasonable … and are directly related to [the rapper's] business.” Funny thing … a lot of rappers say making it rain is something they have to do to build their image so people will buy their records, so as crazy as it sounds, they may have a leg to stand on.

Now, TMZ does note that it’s hard to exactly prove how much cash you dropped at the strip club — since “strippers don’t typically take a time-out to pull a receipt out of their G-string” — rappers still get away with deducting “making it rain” expenses from their taxes.

The Game tells TMZ … making it rain “is good for business and promotion that comes with the lifestyle of a rapper. They bump our music in a strip club, so me giving the girls a little bit of change to shake their ass — that comes with the business. Everybody wins.”

Bizzy Bone: “I’m giving charity to females who need their light bills paid. So, of course, that’s a write-off. You write off your kids, don’t you?”

Daz Dillinger: “Hell yeah. I’m going to see about getting my taxes fixed as soon as possible.”

And Lil’ Flip tells TMZ he’s actually done it … deducted making-it-rain expenses from his taxes.

According to police, Jones confronted an officer who was responding to a complaint about an illegally parked car in front of Jim’s home.

Cops say the officer ran Jim’s name through the system and noticed two warrants out for the rapper’s arrest — one for a motor vehicle violation and the other for failure to remove snow from his sidewalk … apparently, that’s a crime in NJ.

According to the Fair Lawn Patch, Jones denied the existence of the warrants and became disorderly with the officer … so the cop put him under arrest for disorderly conduct and obstruction.

Jim was taken to a nearby station where he was booked.

After announcing they would be making a comeback two years ago the group released the song “Salute” and has since played spot concerts here and there including a surprise appearance during Drake’s set this past weekend at sold out Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Long Island, New York. But there still has been no full album from Capo, Cam’Ron, Juelz Santana and Freekey Zekey.

Jones insists a disc is forthcoming though. He told MTV that he and Killa have been in the lab. The first offering will be a Lil Wayne assisted single entitled “Have You Ever Made Love to a Diplomat.”

“Me and Killa has been working diligently together and recording and things like that. So, everything is moving not as fast as everybody else would want it to, but it’s moving just on time for us,” Jim said. “The Diplomat album is definitely in the works.”

Jones said he hopes the recording of the reunion album will be the subject of a reality show, which would lead up to the December release of the album.

They have got GREEN lighted by VH1 for 5 to 7 30 minute episode of straight JONES ( which they are supposed to be filming NOW).The source says Jimmy and Chrissy refuse to deal with Mona and requested this . Also I heard Mama Jones show will not see the light of day and she will be on this show. They are saying this may be called “Jim and the family JONES “……..we like it ! And as for Love and Hip Hop the source says allegedly that there is Olivia , Yandy , Kimbella , Erica Mena , and maybe some new people.

Again, this is pure speculation, but to date, the cast of the 3rd season of Love & Hip-Hop has yet to be confirmed.

TMZ has obtained insane video of the fight going down inside the casino after a party hosted by Diddy at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods.

Our sources say a guy, who seemed intoxicated, came up to Jones and started talking smack to him, which Jones tried to ignore.

According to our sources, the guy then started getting physical and throwing punches and Jones fought back in self defense. Then the guy’s friends jumped in … then Jim’s people jumped in … and IT WAS ON!!!

We’re told Jones had no idea who the guy was or what triggered his beef with Jones.

Sources close to Jones say he was arrested and it took the aforementioned cops and mace to bring him in. We’re told he has since bonded out and is headed back home soon.

Jones had no comment. The hotel had no comment as well, and referred us to the Connecticut State Police … who said Jones was charged with assault on a police officer and breach of peace.

Smith claims she would never consider placing anyone, friend or enemy, in the way of harm.

“What really hurt me is the people that said it originally are people that have known me for years and they know my character, they know my personality,” she said. “That’s so far from who I am just on a personal level. I was very hurt that people would say that and then repeat it like they believe it. That is so not me and not anything I’d ever do to anybody ever… not even my enemy, let alone my brother.”

In late October, Jim Jones came clean about the attempted robbery.

After rumors popped up about a violent altercation in Harlem, Jim Jones hit me up to share his side of the story. I asked Jimmy what happened on Monday and he summed it us as a “botched robbery.” Jim: “I was in Harlem, alone, when three men stepped to me,” he said. “Well the first guy, I beat the shit out of him, then the second guy jumped in with a metal pipe. I was so amped up I didn’t even feel him hitting me with it. I was still putting a beating on the first guy. But when the third guy pulled out a gun, I got out of there. I left. Anyone with a brain would do the same.”

Several sources have reported that Jim was jumped in Harlem early this morning. While the details are still sketchy, witnesses have stated that Jim was possibly leaving a studio session when he got into a verbal confrontation with a man believed to be the boyfriend of Jim’s former manager (and “Love & Hip-Hop” co-star) Yandy Smith.

Alternately, it has also been reported that Jim went to a Harlem housing project last night expressly to confront the man.

Shortly after the argument began, Jim was ambushed by a group of guys who chased him through the projects, eventually catching up to him and beating him.

While he has yet to speak on the alleged altercation, Angela Yee reports sources close to Jim say he is convinced that his ambush was orchestrated by Yandy.

Oh for real EbenGregory…sounds like they finally realized that the more arguments you win, the less friends you will have huh man?

And now…here’s Miss Info getting the exclusive scoop from Jimmy and Killa on how they done buried the hatchet and are now showing each other brotherly love…kinda:

Jimmy Says: It’s 2010, and this is something I gotta get off my chest…You’ve known us from back when we didn’t have what we have now, so you remember, that above all, me and Cam, we still brothers. And we’re building on getting back on track but first, I apologize for being a rude brother, for saying things publicly without first trying to handle them privately. I apologize for not leading by example because what I didn’t realize at the time, I was venting but it wasn’t all about me. There were other people whose dreams were also part of this movement. So by not leading by example, they were left stranded too. The way I handled our business issues was with emotion, and it got totally f–ked up. That’s what selfishness does… I have demons that I’m learning to deal with. We’re all successful, me and Cam and Juelz, so we’re blessed. But that comes with responsibilities. I had complaints and I’m not backing away from the issues I had, but I’m just mad at how I handled them. The business of the Diplomats could have been fixed before. But by putting my emotions out in the public, it only made things worse. And of course, some of us became bitter about it. We had this luxurious life, but the rest of the family, they had slow down because of the ball I started rolling. I’d be pissed at me too. But God works in mysterious ways…a couple people took vacations, and there’s a lane that’s wide open. What we built solo since Dipset grew apart, we can combine and make even stronger together. I needed to clear my conscious before we work on building a bigger and better movement. Plus, consider it fair warning to everyone else.

Cam Says: There’s nothing really Diplomats-related to show you yet. We all have our own obligations right now, our own projects. I have this Boss of All Bosses Pt. 2.5 mixtape with Vado and DJ Drama dropping soon. But yes, me and Jim have been speaking, we’re working out the mechanics of this, and looking at our options right now. If it makes sense, it can happen.
