Kim had to beg Kanye “to stop by the baby shower which is taking place on June 2. The baby shower will be filmed for Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and he just doesn’t want to appear on the show at all, period,” a source told Radar.

“Kim nagged him until he agreed when she said it would look really bad if he didn’t show up. Kanye thinks it’s silly to even go to the baby shower since he will be the only man there. He will be there for less than ten minutes, tops. It was important to Kim that he go, so he agreed.”

Leading up to the birth of her first child, Kim has said she didn’t want cameras around after the baby was born to give them some privacy.

However, in promotional clips of the upcoming season Kim is seen at the doctor’s office finding out what the sex of the baby is.

Another clip features Kim baring her baby bump asking, “How the (bleep) did I get like this?”

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, just months before Kim is due to give birth she jetted off to Paris for a romantic trip…and she spent time with her mom Kris Jenner while her baby daddy Kanye was nowhere to be found.

Kim’s relationship with Kanye has been under fire recently, and she admitted that they “lead different lives.

According to the New York Medical Examiner, Chris Lighty committed suicide on August 30, 2012.

The mogul, who worked with artists like Sean “Diddy” Combs, Missy Elliott, Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent and others, was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in his Bronx, New York apartment, after an alleged argument with his wife Veronica, whom he was in the process of divorcing.

But an investigation ensued, after 50 Cent , business associates and even Chris Lighty’s own mother, questioned the circumstances surrounding her son’s death.

In September of 2012, 50 Cent hired a private investigator to look into a variety of questionable circumstances relating to the powerful music executive’s death.

50 Cent eventually hired attorney Scott E Leemon of Leemon Law and private investigator Les Levine, to spearhead the investigation.

“After many months of investigation, led by Les Levine, I am in a position to provide the following update on the inquiry into Darrell ‘Chris’ Lighty’s death,” Scott Leemon Esq. told AllHipHop.com in a statement released today (May 21, 2013).

According to Scott Leemon, after hours of interviews and reviewing a number of documents, many questions are still unanswered.

“The main problem that we encountered was that the NYPD did not do a thorough investigation into Chris’ death,” Scott Leemon told AllHipHop.com. “In fact, what they did do was cursory, at best.”

According to the investigation, the gun recovered at the scene was part of a multi-gun purchase in North Carolina.

Chris lighty-veronica“The weapon was never reported stolen. Despite this fact, no follow was done with the information nor was the individual ever interviewed,” Scott Leemon revealed to AllHipHop.com. “More importantly, no DNA tests were done on the gun.”

According to the investigation, the Medical Examiner never tested Chris Lighty’s hands or his clothes for gunshot residue.

“This is a simple test that can be done in hours. Luckily, records indicate that an actual sample was taken for this purpose, but it was never tested,” Leemon said.

According to Leemon, his team attempted to obtain the sample so it could be test, but the piece of evidence has sat dormant in the office of the Chief Medical Examiner .

“For months we have requested that the sample be tested and even offered to pay any costs relating to the testing, but our offer was ignored,” Scott Leemon told AllHipHop.com.

The investigation, which began in September 2012, is ongoing.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the company, Real Bronx Tours, cancelled the tours amid outrage from local residents.

Three times a week, the $45 tour gave foreign visitors a glimpse at food lines, drug dealers chilling outside corner bodegas, seedy housing projects, and a park described as a pickpocket hangout.

The tour website described the Bronx as a borough that was “notorious for drugs, gangs, crime and murders.”

Residents say the tour was racist and misrepresented the “area where former Secretary of State Colin Powell and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor lived in as children,” according to the AJC.

“Those days are over, the Bronx is being rebuilt, it’s rising again,” said Bronx resident and Grammy-nominated musician Bobby Sanabria.

Most of the tenement slums in the Bronx before the 1980s were burned down intentionally by landlords looking for quick insurance payouts.

“We strongly urge you to stop profiting off of a tour that misrepresents the Bronx as a haven for poverty and crime, while mocking everything from our landmarks to the less fortunate members of our community who are availing themselves of food assistance programs,” wrote Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. and City Councilwoman Melissa Mark-Viverito in an open letter to the company owner, Michael Myers.

“We’ve had enough of the gawkers who come to ghettoize us,” said Al Quinones, caretaker of a community park. “Their timing was bad. The Bronx is not burning, not now! Now, it’s resurgence.”

The bus company did not return reporters’ requests for comments.

According to Michael Clarke Duncan’s family, a friend went to visit the grave and place fresh flowers down. When the friend got to Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood, California. When she got there, she saw a a cartoonish black face head sitting on top of the site marker which is believed to be an image of “Sambo.” In case you don’t know, “Sambo” is a character that has long been one of the most offensive depictions of black people ever.

Friends and family were shocked by the discovery and contacted the LAPD. Police are in the midst of an investigation and say the vandalism could be considered a hate crime. Although the cemetery removed the racist image from the grave immediately, the family is still highly upset and won’t be happy until someone deals with the consequences of their actions.

Details of the indictment landed across the Internet Friday (May 24).

Platinum-selling rapper Lil’ Flip of Houston has been indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance over a 2012 Texas traffic stop. Navarro County District Attorney R. Lowell Thompson said Friday that the artist whose real name is Wesley Eric Weston allegedly possessed codeine. The traffic stop happened Oct. 18 on Interstate 45. The Corsicana Daily Sun reports a man with Weston, Dematrius Delane Richardson from Arlington, was indicted Thursday on the same count. The charges involves possession of more than 400 grams of codeine. Thompson had no details on attorneys for Weston and Richardson. (KXXV)

Recently, Flip’s attorney had to speak out and claim the rapper unintentionally missed a previous court date.

Lil Flip is no longer a wanted man after an incident with an AR-15 rifle … ’cause the rapper’s lawyer just got his arrest warrant recalled, blaming Flip’s crappy scheduling skills. TMZ broke the story … the arrest warrant was issued last month for Flip (real name Wesley Weston) after the rapper no-showed at a hearing in his drug/gun possession case. But Flip’s lawyer says it was all an honest mistake, submitting docs to the court this week, in which he claims Flip was unaware of the April court date and missed it completely unintentionally. The judge bought it and recalled the warrant, setting a new court date for July. (TMZ)

The Boy Scouts of America voted Thursday to allow openly gay members, but openly gay leaders and atheists will continue to be prohibited. More than 60 percent of the 1,400 delegates of the Boy Scouts’ National Council voted to repeal the long-standing prohibition on openly gay members. LGBT advocates praised the vote as a positive first step. However, the council did not vote on the issue of leaders and therefore the current policy will remain in place.

“The Boy Scouts of America will not sacrifice its mission, or the youth served by the movement, by allowing the organization to be consumed by a single, divisive, and unresolved societal issue,” the organization said in a statement. “As the National Executive Committee just completed a lengthy review process, there are no plans for further review on this matter.”

“While people have different opinions about this policy, we can all agree that kids are better off when they are in Scouting,” the organization added. “Going forward, our Scouting family will continue to focus on reaching and serving youth in order to help them grow into good, strong citizens. America’s youth need Scouting, and by focusing on the goals that unite us, we can continue to accomplish incredible things for young people and the communities we serve.”

The Boy Scouts of America considered lifting the ban on gay members three months ago, but delayed a vote on repealing the ban until today. The Supreme Court ruled in 2000 that the group was allowed to prohibit gay members under the First Amendment, which guarantees the freedom of association.

“Today is a historic day for Boy Scouts across the country who want to be a part of this great American institution,” Human Rights Campaign President Chad Griffin said in a statement. “But the new policy doesn’t go far enough. Parents and adults of good moral character, regardless of sexual orientation, should be able to volunteer their time to mentor the next generation of Americans.”

The man made famous for putting down his Big Mac to help free three women held captive for about a decade in a Cleveland house will never have to buy a hamburger in his hometown again.

More than two weeks after Charles Ramsey became an instant folk hero after telling his story to television reporters, Cleveland food blogger Michelle Venorsky said on Thursday that 15 restaurants are offering him a free hamburger, whenever he wants it.

Venorsky floated the idea to her followers after seeing Ramsey’s first interview on TV.

“He was so entertaining…I thought he should never have to pay for another meal in Cleveland again,” Venorsky said in a phone interview.

Since his first interview on local TV, Ramsey, a dishwasher at a Cleveland restaurant, has become an Internet sensation. The restaurant produced a t-shirt with Ramsey’s face and the words “Cleveland Hero” on the front, netting $21,000 for a fund set up for the women, who were held captive for about a decade.

Ramsey was not available for comment on Thursday. He has had brushes with the law in the past, including domestic violence convictions.

Amanda Berry, her six-year-old daughter, and two other women, Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight, were discovered in the house of former school bus driver Ariel Castro on May 6. Ramsey heard Berry’s calls for help and he and others helped her escape and call 911.

Castro has been charged with multiple counts of kidnapping and rape. He is in jail on an $8 million bond.

One restaurant owner, Sam McNulty, said the offer of free burgers to Ramsey “is a communal high-five from the Cleveland restaurant industry.”
The kidnapping story has several fast food connections.

Ramsey’s story, with its mention of a McDonald’s hamburger, won him praise from the restaurant chain.

After the discovery of the women, Castro was arrested in front of a McDonald’s about a mile from the house.

As a school bus driver, Castro was once accused of leaving a child alone on a bus, telling the child “lie down, bitch,” while he visited a Wendy’s restaurant.

Also, a neighbor reported seeing Castro park his school bus outside the house and bring a large bag of fast food and several drinks inside, even though he was thought to live alone. The neighbor said his mother called police, who warned Castro not to park his school bus outside the house.

Lawyers said in a statement on behalf of the three women that they are “happy and safe and continue to heal.”

According to reports, Scrappy showed up in court Wednesday morning to address his drug test results.

He appeared in court Wednesday morning where he responded a drug test he took last month that tested positive for weed. The entertainer was suited down, looking like an upstanding citizen. “Momma D,” his mother in real life and reality show “Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta” co-star, would have been pleased. Lil Scrappy, whose actual name is Darryl Kevin Richardson II, reportedly admitted to TMZ that he has an addiction to marijuana. The 29-year-old’s attorney, Mawuli Mel Davis, admits that his client is scheduled to enter a rehab facility in order to kick his ongoing drug habit. (News One)

The Southern rapper’s legal team said Scrappy’s issues could be resolved with treatment from a rehab center.

“After testing positive, Mr. Richardson went and sought clinical help and was diagnosed with marijuana addition and post-traumatic stress disorder,” defense attorney Mawuli Mel Davis said. DeKalb County Superior Court Judge Daniel M. Coursey heard arguments from both sides before considering some form of treatment that called for stringent monitoring. “He obviously needs some help to get off drugs,” Coursey said. “And we can’t trust him to do it on his own. I think he’s tried to cheat the system.” Davis offered to enroll Richardson in the in-patient program within a week and report back to the judge by June 12 with his client’s progress.

Sources close to the show tell us, all cast members were supposed to be present Tuesday in NYC to film a trailer for the upcoming season, but only half of the cast showed up. The other half stayed home in protest because negotiations for their new contracts had gone sour.

We’re told the half that did show up then got upset … believing they too were entitled to revised contracts … and stormed off.

We’re told most of the cast members want more money — as much as double their last contract — but there are other problems too … some are pissed at how they were portrayed last season and they want more say in what footage gets aired.

Our story begins on January 9, when a motorcyclist T-boned a red Bentley in Hollywood … leaving the biker seriously injured … but the driver of the Bentley — who caused the crash by making a reckless turn — fled the scene.

We’re told a witness — the victim’s friend — was so pissed off, he went back to the scene of the crime a few days later and nosed around, asking people if they knew who was driving the red Bentley. He struck gold at Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles … when a valet told the guy he knew the car well … it belonged to Soulja Boy, who frequented the area.

The witness went to police with the info … and that’s when things got Orwellian.

Turns out, the cops have access to a super-database of photographs taken by thousands of hidden cameras stationed on police cars, buildings and private vehicles all over L.A.. There are private companies that make money off the City by getting citizens and businesses to mount cameras for the database.

One law enforcement source tells us the cameras are constantly taking photos of cars all over the city — and the average car is shot AT LEAST 1,000 TIMES PER DAY!!!

So … the cops got the license plate number of Soulja Boy’s Bentley, ran it through the database and BINGO … a bunch of photos popped up showing the Bentley with damage that corresponded to the accident.

Soulja’s Bentley is currently damage-free. Law enforcement sources tell us the operating theory is that the rapper had the car repaired on the sly to cover up incriminating evidence.

So cops got a search warrant and a judge agreed there was probable cause to believe the Bentley was involved in the accident, so cops went and impounded the car.

You’re probably as shocked as we are about the cameras … cops tell us they solve hundreds of crimes with these secret photographs. So even if you’re a law abiding citizen, you probably still pick your nose, so heads up.

Though some artists brush off their legal issues, Fat Joe is acutely aware of just how serious his are.

After pleading guilty to tax evasion in December, the Bronx rapper didn’t dance around the issue when discussing it with MTV’s “RapFix Live.”

“I can’t really explain that ’cause I got a real court case going on, like facing jail time. But I guess after June 24. Hopefully, it goes well,” said Joe.

Ultimately, Joe took responsibility for having to pay the money, but didn’t accept the blame for not paying the taxes on time. “At the end of the day, I’m paying all the money back that’s owed — actually I have and I’ma just go like a man, stand up,” he said, before qualifying, “You gotta understand we hire guys who are supposed have Harvard degrees to take care of us.”

Joe explained that artists typically hire others to manage their finances, which is how artists can end up in trouble. “All the time you see artists, the first thing they did to you when you caught money was introduce you to a bunch of fancy guys with bow ties who are gonna take care of your money and all that and then you always see an artist or a celebrity or somebody like that goin’ down for it and these guys never go down for it.”

Joey Crack faces up to two years in prison for failing to pay income taxes for the years 2007 and 2008, amounting to roughly $700,000.

]]> R&B singer Miguel and one of the female victims he collapsed on Sunday (May 19) night at the Billboard Music Awards have stepped forward to speak out on what went down.

While the fan held onto an ice pack moments after being injured, she joined in on the fun with a playful reference to one of Miguel’s hits when asked about her injury.

“Well, I think it’s kind of clear what happened,” he said, looking visibly embarrassed. “But I’m very happy to bring my new friend, Khyati, we just met . Unfortunately we did not meet under the best circumstances, but I think we’re okay.” The young woman seemed to take the injury in stride, looking thrilled to be backstage with Miguel and even dropping a pun when asked what she thought of him. “I Adorn him,” she said. The crooner also took blame for the accident, saying he was too caught up in the moment of his performance.

]]> Foreigners, who are looking to witness from a safe distance, what a “real ghetto” looks like are paying $45 a pop to take a bus tour through the Bronx.

Real Bronx Tours are taking mainly White Europeans and Australians on a tour of the Bronx with stops at for photo ops at a food-pantry line, “pickpocket” park, and housing projects.

According to an unnamed patron on the tour, one of the guides, Lynn Battaglia, from Pittsburgh, poked fun at impoverished areas, describing the South Bronx, in particular, as a crime-ridden borough infested with poverty and violence, which has plagued the area since the 1970s.

At one point during the tour, Battaglia allegedly told the tourists in front of pantry line, “I don’t know what that line’s about, but every Wednesday we see it,” Battaglia told the tourists. “We see them go in with empty carts, and we see them come out with carts full.”

The bus then reportedly stopped in front of St. Mary’s Park, where she reportedly told the foreigners, “If it were 1980, and you said to me, ‘Lynn, I want to die.’ My answer would be, ‘You’re in the right neighborhood,’” suggesting that the park is unsafe.

Maybe we’ll rent a bus and take tourists through trailer park neighborhoods and show them the dumbest people in America. Then take them to a hospital to see what white folks look like before the meet their maker and why they all look like skeletons due there nasty treatment of people.

Written by and from the perspective of her longtime friend and publicist Kali Bowyer, Saving Sanders: The Pilar Sanders Untold Story will detail what Pilar has described as her abusive marriage to the sports great. Although the book is in its early, early stages, I managed to get my hands on a couple of excerpts, and boy do they make for an interesting read. Check them out below:

“I’ll never forget the night my phone rang at around 3:30 am. I had answered dead out of my sleep to hear just uncontrollable sobbing from a heartbroken Pilar, who could only mutter the words, ‘Kal, he took my babies.’ As I sat there and cried with her, she was completely devastated and blown away. I do not think this was something she ever imagined in a million years could happen to her. It had been a rough few months – doing my best to combat every attack Deion made. Watching my friend die inside, I refused to sit back at let this happen. I promised Pilar that I would fight for her.”

“While Pilar was living out of the hotel those few months, scraping by day-to-day. Now don’t get me wrong, she was not staying at some dive – quite the opposite. We had been on the phone talking for quite sometime that day when I heard her son call his father and say to him, ‘Daddy, I’m hungry, and mommy has no money for food.’ After a silent pause, Deion replied to his son, ‘You can eat when I see you next week.’”

“The headline making argument – a joke is more like it. What did not make the headlines is how Deion attempted to kill Pilar by picking up a statue in a fit of rage and hitting her over the head. Thank God her childhood best friend Dee was present in the house to witness the entire fight. After Dee jumped in to try to help Pilar, Deion responded by punching her in the face.”

Known for pulling off his own iconic leg drops in the ring, Hogan joined in on the laughs by poking fun at Miguel.

“MIGUELAMANIA at least he did it right brother. HH,” Hogan tweeted May 20th. (Hulk Hogan’s Twitter)

Almost immediately after the accident, various Hogan and wrestling comparisons were made.

]]> J. Cole is ready for a real challenge and has decided to push up the release date of his Born Sinner to go head-to-head with Kanye West’s upcoming Yeezus album.

Reports Sohh:

Cole broke the unexpected news to his 3.7 million Twitter followers Monday (May 20).

“Kanye West is one of the greatest artists of our generation.,” Cole tweeted May 20th.

“Which is exactly why I’m moving my release date up.”

“Born Sinner June 18th”

Hours prior, Cole’s Born Sinner special edition version cover surfaced across the Internet.
Here goes the official album cover for the deluxe edition of J. Cole’s upcoming sophomore album Born Sinner, which was revealed by the New Zealand iTunes store and listing a June 14th release date. That probably means it’s due in the United States on June 18th, a week up from it’s original planned date. The standard edition of the album features 16 tracks while the deluxe has 21. (HHNM)

]]> Even with a national scandal consuming the I.R.S. over the last week, the government agency still continued its pursuit of missing taxes from high-profile citizens. Enter Mary J. Blige.

Reports AllHipHop:

According to TMZ, Blige is being accused of not paying all of her federal taxes in 2009, 2010, and 2011. The I.R.S. says that the “I’m Goin’ Down” singer owes a total of $3,426,255.43.

Blige’s financial troubles also include over $900,000 in back taxes owed to the state of New Jersey, and in February the Grammy winner was sued for allegedly defaulting on a $500,000 loan from Bank of America.

Prior to that lawsuit, she and her husband were accused of defaulting on a $2.2. million Signature Bank loan in November of 2012.

Blige’s federal tax issues became public two weeks after Lauryn Hill, her duet partner on “I Used To Love Him,” was sentenced to three months in prison for unpaid taxes.

]]> Nearly a month after Jay-Z inked former NCAA basketball star Skylar Diggins to his newly launched Roc Nation Sports, Young Hov reportedly treated her to a pricey Mercedes Benz.

According to reports, Jigga bought the whip as a graduation present for Diggs.

College graduation is a day to celebrate accomplishments and toast to the future. Some people may even get thoughtful gifts from friends and family. For former Notre Dame basketball player Skylar Diggins, graduation day will certainly be unforgettable. Diggins currently plays guard for the WNBA’s Tulsa Shock and graduated Sunday from Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business. Her agency, Jay-Z’s Roc Nation, surprised her with quite the gift. Diggins left her graduation ceremonies and was surprised in the parking lot with a brand new white Mercedes, complete with a red bow and a handwritten note from Jay himself. Diggins posted a collage of photos of the car on her Instagram account with the caption, “Got surprised with a new Mercedes! Thanks so much to Jay and @rocnation, and @dancyautogroup!” (NESN)

Diggins became an official Roc Nation Sports client in late April.

When a former college basketball women’s star gets drafted into the WNBA, you rarely pay attention to what sports agency she signs with. However, this one should warrant a little bit of attention. Of course by now we know all about Jay Z and his latest sports endeavor — he’s become a sports agent and has already started RocNation Sports. Well on Thursday morning, Jay Z signed his latest client as Skylar Diggins reportedly agreed to be represented by RocNation. Diggins isn’t and won’t be the headline figure at RocNation, but it’s still an intriguing move. Diggins was selected with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2013 WNBA Draft less than two weeks ago and was widely considered to be one of the top three recognizable players in women’s basketball aside of Britney Griner and Elana Delle Donne. Shots of rap star Kanye West and additional cast members like Jim Carrey, Steve Carell and more sprouted online last week.

Anchorman: The Legend Continues is back in Woodruff Park in downtown Atlanta, GA today and the cameos will continue, too (rumor has it Vince Vaughn is on set today). According to permits, filming will continue near Park Peachtree St between Marietta St and Auburn Ave (along Woodruff Park) through Monday. Reports TMZ:

According to our sources, multiple threats were called in to the office of Brown’s attorney, Mark Geragos. We’re told the caller threatened Chris’ life … but it’s unclear what, if any, specific threats were made.

Our sources say Geragos took the threats very seriously and immediately reported them to the LAPD, giving them all the information he had on the calls.

We’re told Geragos filled out a report and the LAPD are currently investigating.

The FLOTUS recently addressed the graduating class of Bowie State University, which is one of many Historically Black Colleges, where she made it a point to stress the importance of going to college and commended the graduating class for beating the statistics.

First Lady Michelle Obama decided to trot out some very old talking points in her commencement address to the 2013 graduating class at Bowie State University:

“Today, instead of walking miles every day to school, they’re sitting on couches for hours, playing video games, watching TV. Instead of dreaming of being a teacher or a lawyer or a business leader, they’re fantasizing about being a baller or a rapper,” Obama continued.

“Right now, one in three African American students are dropping out of high school, only one in five African Americans between the ages of 25 and 29 has gotten a college degree.”

But priorities should change, she said, because “getting an education is as important if not more important than it was back when this university was founded.”

The first lady is known for keeping it 100 when she speaks, and this time was no exception.

Griner broke the news in various interviews this week but failed to garner much attention.
One of the most dominant basketball players in recent memory came out as gay Wednesday, casually mentioning the fact in an interview as if it were an afterthought. The news media and the sports world seemed to treat it as such, too, with little mention of the star’s sexuality showing up on social media or on message boards, and virtually no analysis of what the revelation meant for tolerance in society as a whole. At first glance, it seemed implausible. After all, players, fans, coaches and league executives had been waiting with bated breath for weeks, if not months and years, to see if an active team-sport athlete would come out. So how could this sort of revelation be treated with such nonchalance? (New York Times)

She also revealed why college athletes keep hush-hush on their sexual preferences.

“It was more of a unwritten law [to not discuss your sexuality] … it was just kind of, like, one of those things, you know, just don’t do it,” Griner said Friday. “They kind of tried to make it, like, ‘Why put your business out on the street like that?’” (ESPNW)

Kanye has blessed us with more new info about his new album. According to Rap-Up, the album will be released on June 18, and will be titled “Yeezus.”

After whipsers about the album being “like the year 3000,” and his elaborate “New Slaves” video premiere last night, it looks like Yeezy is setting everyone up for a huge album.

Overall, Kanye has kept the details minimal for this album, but maybe that’s driving its appeal. Rumored collaborations on the project include Hudson Mohawke, Young Chop, Skrillex, and Daft Punk.

We’ve learned … Capital One has slapped Pilar Sanders with a big, fat lawsuit in Texas for allegedly failing to make payments on a $6,160.25 bill … an amount she used to consider chump change.

We’ve been reporting for months … Pilar and Deion are at WAR — and Prime Time even kicked her out of his Texas mansion. Pilar has lawyered up and wants a cut of the NFL legend’s fortune, estimated at more than $250 million.

But for now Capital One just wants its $6k … and according to court docs, the bank says it reached out to Pilar in January, 2013, demanding she cough up the cash … but she never paid.

Now, C.O. is suing for the full amount plus court costs.

New York Knicks guard JR Smith has received a ton of criticism for his playoff performance, and rumors started sprouting that he was out partying with Rihanna all night in an NYC club, which was what contributed to his off-game on the court. Pictures actually surfaced of JR sweating while partying in the club with Rihanna just a few feet away from him.

Rihanna has since thrown some major shade at JR on Instagram while responding to a hater. She called JR “thirsty” and claimed that “he f*ckin up cus his a*s be hungover from clubbing every night during playoffs.” Fans have taken this and spun the clubbing rumors out of control.

Well, after a while it’s only natural to get highly annoyed with fans repeatedly hitting you up complaining that your sub-par performance is a result of partying with Rihanna. To remedy the slander that has been coming his way, JR posted a slick one-liner Instagram response to any hater trying to slay him for being in the club with the Bajan beauty.

According to JR, he’s not even sure who people saw him in the club with.

For Kanye West, presentation is everything and on Friday night (May 17), rap’s reigning mad scientist conjured up a revolutionary way to premiere his “New Slaves” music video.

Instead of YouTube or MTV, Yeezy projected his latest clip on the sides of buildings in 66 locations around the world, giving fans little forewarning before the first premiere. He posted the viewing times and locations on his KanyeWest.com site and about 100 fans answered the call and gathered on the corner of 14th Street and 10th Avenue in New York City’s Meatpacking District as many as 30 minutes before the scheduled 11:45 p.m. showing. The truck that drove around the city projecting the vid was an hour late, but the delay didn’t seem to matter much to the dedicated flock who gasped as the stark black and white image of their rap hero shot up on a matte black wall.

“My mama was raised in the era when/ Clean water was only served to the fairer skin/ Threw on clothes, you would’ve thought I had help/ But they wasn’t satisfied unless I picked the cotton myself,” ‘Ye spit, setting the tone.

From the video’s first few moments it was clear that this was something different, even for a rapper who has made a career off of wearing pink polos and singing an entire album in auto-tune. At the same time there was something familiar as Kanye challenged materialistic habits and racial stereotypes like he did on his 2005 single “All Falls Down.”

“What you want a Bentley, fur coat, a diamond chain/ All you blacks want all the same things,” he rhymed, making for an uncomfortable, but necessary listen.

The visual was equally dislodging as West rhymes with a piercing look in his eye addressing each individual listener, but without ever really being there. He shouts out “new slaves” before staring silently as the thumping beat played.

When the almost four-minute presentation was over, the crowd stood strangely quiet for a moment before they realized that it was OK to cheer their revolutionary rap hero.

The news follows rampant speculation that the “Countdown” songbird was pregnant, even as the couple remained tight-lipped about their ever-growing family. (E! Online)

The 31-year-old hitmaker had the Internet buzzing after nixing a concert earlier this week, which only sparked more pregnancy chatter.

Buzz of baby No. 2 on board kicked into gear on Monday. Now Beyoncé has announced she’s canceling her Tuesday concert in Belgium because of dehydration and exhaustion. The singer’s publicist tells AP that Beyoncé has been advised by her doctors to rest. She was scheduled to perform at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp. The show will be rescheduled and tickets can be used at that show. Her next tour date is Wednesday at the same arena. The statement says “she is awaiting word from her doctors before making a decision.” (USA Today)

Recently, rumors and gossip about another baby being on the way have sprouted online.

Music insiders are chattering about Beyoncé expecting her second child with husband Jay-Z. Multiple sources told us after the Met Gala last week that the singer, who is currently in the middle of a world tour, is pregnant. Bey wore a Givenchy gown with a high, belted waist that carefully camouflaged her midsection, but pictures have emerged on blogs of what looks like a baby bump from recent tour dates. The network providing culturally relevant programming for English-speaking Latinos, which was founded in 2004, has teamed up with J.Lo for a brand new movement. The Boricua pop star, who took a majority stake in the company last year, was officially appointed chief creative officer of the channel, which reaches an estimated 31 million homes nationwide.

During the 2013 NuvoTV upfront at the Edison Ballroom in NYC yesterday, Lopez dished about her new gig and how she is preparing for the re-launch of the network’s programming in July. She addressed the crowd in a stylish sheer floral blouse paired with white pants, and said, “It is still almost impossible to find Latinos accurately portrayed in the media.” The Puerto Rican mogul added, “Now, I’m fortunate enough to be in the position to do something about it.”

Several new shows are being launched including, Mario Lopez: One on One, where the famous host gets to sit down for an intimate chat with fellow celebrities. Comedian Anjelah Johnson will also star in her own comedy series, The Homecoming Special. In addition, the network will release a documentary about J.Lo’s life and rise to success.
